1) If you're playing a canon character and your character does not play Quidditch in the books, then don't apply to be on the Quidditch team. Simple as that.
2) No one can apply for captain of their team. The admins will decide this based on roleplay skill and character personality.
3) I have put canon characters where they should be. Please inform me if I have missed anyone.
4) Do yourself a favor and don't annoy me by saying 'ohhh, can he/she be a nominee for captain?'. The admins will decide who the nominees are, and then we will take a public vote.

Rules of Quidditch
1. Players must not stray over the boundary lines of the pitch, although they may fly as high as desired. The Quaffle must be surrendered to the opposition if any player leaves the boundary.
2. 'Time out' may be called at any time by the Captain of a team. Time out may be extended to two hours if a game has already lasted for more than twelve hours. Failure to return to the pitch after this time will lead to the team being disqualified.
3. Penalties can be rewarded to teams by the referee. A single Chaser may take the penalty by flying from the central circle towards the scoring area. The opposing team's Keeper may attempt to stop the shot being scored, but all other players must not interfere.
4. Contact is allowed, but a player may not seize hold of another player's broomstick or any part of their anatomy. Draco Malfoy breaks this rule in Prisoner of Azkaban by seizing Harry Potter's broom tail in order to stop him from seizing the Snitch.
5. No substitution of players is allowed throughout the game, even if a player is too injured to continue to play.
6. Players may take their wands onto the pitch, but they must not be used on or against any players, any players' broomsticks, the referee, any of the four balls, or the spectators. According to the webzine Quidditch Today[1], there is a spell called the Quid-Fireworks spell which is allowed to be used on the pitch. It supposedly causes several large fireworks to come out of the casters' wand which race around the pitch, not touching opposing players, but getting in their way. However, this is not official information and may not be correct.
7. A game of Quidditch will only end once the Golden Snitch has been caught, or at the mutual consent of both team Captains.

Why they would be good for this position(at least six sentences):
*An admin will decide if you get the position or not. Make an impression, people.
*Those who have been put on already do not have to do a form.
EXAMPLE:
Name: Cloey Ritters
House: Gryffindor
Position: Beater
Why they would be good for this position: Cloey is a quick thinker. She knows what to do and how she's going to do it. If something goes wrong, Clo knows how to fix it. She has good balance, speed, reatction time, and coordination - though I can't say the same for power. She tries her hardest all the time and never gives up. She's brave, she's strong, and she's not afraid to get dirty. One of her faults on the field though is her temper. She can't control it on the field. If the referee makes a call she doesn't like, she will get mad and a lot of times take it out on other players in the game. Overall, Cloey would make a good chaser.
