Vixie had been wandering the lake all day. She was in a very steamed mood so she was often yelling at almost everyone that crossed her path. She had her uniform on, though it was modified greatly. The skirt was extremely short and the top was tighter. Her robes flowed behind her as she walked in a fast pace. Her hair was thrown up into a messy side pony that looked like she had a 'rough night'. Her eyes were lighter than normal which meant for no one to mess with her unless they had a good reason.
She had no clue where she was storming off too but apparently her feet did. They headed straight to the pitch. That would be a good way to release some anger...smacking the shyt out of some bludgers. Vix was quite the quidittch player. She used to be a beater on the house team but moved to keeper, since she kept injuring opposing team members with flying bludgers.
Vix walked out onto the field with a bat, a box, and the fastest broom money could buy. She opened the lock on the box and out flew three bludgers. She climbed on her broom and took off after them, smacking them around like they were no more than a child's doll....

Before Vixie had arrived, Shannon was already in the Quidditch Pitch, hovering around on her broomstick. The place was such a simple yet great way to have a little fun. It was really hard for most people to explain the feelings that came from being up in the air, on a broomstick, gliding almost silently wherever you wanted. It produced one of those moments where you simply wanted to laugh, smile, and possibly even cry at the same time. Shannon Emerson loved that feeling. Mind you, she wasn't the most excellent flyer in the world, but she didn't care - she didn't see herself being on the quidditch team any time soon, and that was just fine with her.
Today, she'd needed a little something to cheer her up. Yesterday had been an awful day. One of her closest and truest friends was mad at her because, as usual, she hadn't been able to keep her mouth shut. A comment that meant well had come out as completely rude, and as soon as she'd said it, she'd realized and apologized, but that wasn't good enough. It was never good enough, which was understandable. Now she'd have to spend the whole day, maybe even days trying to win the friendship back, and that was never fun.
Shannon was pondering ways to win her friend over when something shot rather quickly through the air, just past her head. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the object was a bludger, which was rather startling, considering that quidditch practice wasn't supposed to be going on today [she'd checked beforehand]. Her blue eyes fell on a girl a distance away, who appeared to be letting her anger out. She sighed and pulled her broomstick forward, finally resting beside the girl.
"Hey!" she called, so she would be heard. "Is there any way you could put two of those away and just use one? I keep thinking they're going to hit me." She wore a kind smile on her face, not wanting to sound like a huge snob.

Vixie flew around a bit roughing up the stupid balls by hitting them as hard as she could. When her bat came in contact with one, it made a loud and hollow pop as the ball was sent zooming in the other direction. To Vixie, this was sheer happiness. There was nothing she liked better than beating those things around while imagining people's faces on the fronts of the bludgers. It gave her the stregnth not to actually hit them in person. This was a very good thing because she punches very very hard for a girl.
Vixie must not have noticed the other girl that was flying about as if on a Sunday stroll in the park. And she wasn't even flying very good at that. Vixie paused for a moment when she hit the other one and watched them. Both her bludgers were all the way down at the other end so it wasn't like she could do much until they came back. Her eyes glanced over to the girl who was coming her way. Vix sighed and rolled her eyes slightly and then quickly plastered a smile on her face. She said something about taking two of the bludgers off the field and only using one...like that was going to happen. Vixie tilted her head a little. She didn't want to be totally rude to a girl she had never met before...but that didn't really stop her.
"This would be a pitch not a park. I wouldn't worry though, they aren't going to hit you ..." she paused for a moment and sat up a bit straighter. "...unless you get in the way." she said with almost a sneer.
